By January 2025, students were constantly reaching out with questions: Where can I find apprenticeships? How do I apply and stand out? What makes a strong CV? How do I handle interviews?
To support these students properly, we built The Apprentice Guide platform—a dedicated space designed to make the apprenticeship journey clearer, simpler, and less stressful. Everything we teach is rooted in real-world experience.

Meet the Founders
Sam Walsh and Ruby Lowery co-founded The Apprentice Guide after navigating the competitive world of degree apprenticeships themselves.
Sam Walsh
Attended grammar school until age 18, completing A-Levels before seeking hands-on learning opportunities. Successfully secured an apprenticeship in Audit with Smith & Williamson.
Ruby Lowery
Also attended grammar school until age 18, completing A-Levels before pursuing practical career experience. Successfully began her career in Data Analytics at The Walt Disney Company.
Their Shared Vision
Drawing from their experiences of applying for apprenticeships as teenagers, Sam and Ruby created The Apprentice Guide to support students on the same journey. They provide resources, insights, and guidance to help others achieve their career goals with the support they wished they'd had when starting out.
